It’s Groundhog Day again, and again, and again, and again, and again, only this time, (unfortunately), there are no Bill Murray laughs to ease the annoying rewinds to replay the story and tell it from the different Vantage Point of five different witnesses.

“Wonderful gem that brings with it a tidal wave of 1980s’ Brit nostalgia”
Now and again you come across true, raw talent at a young age on screen. This film encapsulates such talent in the shape of two gifted young stars, Bill Milner and Will Poulter, who not only endear you to them in very believable performances, but bring joy, humour and warmth to the whole tale.

“Slick Vegas con thriller for intellectuals with big brains involved!”
As the counting really gets going, so, too, do the thrills in this slick Vegas thriller for intellectuals. Kevin Spacey is delightfully devilish and untrustworthy as money-centric professor, Mickey Rosa, using the gifted young minds of his MIT students in a get-rich-quick ‘business’ scam.
Released 29th February 2008
A commendable and engaging high-tech thriller that pays a lot of attention to detail throughout (some might say too much ‘geek-speak’), without over-glamourising the gore content like in other capture-torture movies, such as Saw, Hostel and Captivity. The film’s obvious effectiveness and believability is the chilling and frightening reality that this type of cyber crime could actually happen at any moment, emphasising the irony of the film that wants/needs to get viewers, but highlights the ‘crime’ being committed by all those ‘accomplices’ who log on to witness the murders in the story.
