The Spanking New Channel on Freeview 21, Sky 358 and Virgin Media 313.
Viva is the brand new channel from the MTV UK & Ireland folk. Launching on Monday 26th October set to be a unique mix of award-winning comedy, and the best in rock and pop. You can catch preview teasers for the new channel today at www.viva.tv.

Alexandra Burke will launch the channel with a special performance of her current hit single ‘Bad Boys’, in Alexandra Burke Presents VIVA.
About her exclusive performance for VIVA, Alexandra said:
“I am really excited to be involved with the launch of VIVA, and am delighted that I will be the first artist to perform on the channel. VIVA has a great mix of music and entertainment and I look forward to watching some of the fantastic shows they’ve got coming up.”
VIVA will offer viewers a playful home for great shows that are not available elsewhere on the Freeview platform; including the first chance to catch the fourth season of the phenomenon that is The Hills. Whilst the new channel replaces TMF on programme guides, it will still offer the very best in music, but now with a fresh, fun blend of comedy, reality and fantastic new programming.
Every day VIVA will also showcase the hottest new music with the exclusive Official UK Charts, alongside themed programming hosted by top names, including the UK’s current number one Chipmunk, Lady Gaga, Leona Lewis, Pixie Lott and Kelly Rowland to name a few. Then every weekend VIVA Saturday Night will highlight great live performances and special programmes featuring the biggest names in the music biz and the very best music events including the VMAs, Divas and one-off gigs.
The VIVA schedule will also be packed full of hit US programming, including the brand new reality series, Scream Queens - which searches for the ultimate horror babe, offering them a chance to win a breakout role in the forthcoming Saw VI movie. The ten wannabes compete to survive each week’s gruesome task set by their mentor and judge; leading horror actress Shawnee Smith. Living side by side throughout the competition, the weekly challenges pale in comparison to the bitchy backstabbing that the feisty girls dish out - making this must see TV. Also showing on VIVA is America’s top sitcom Two and a Half Men (from the very beginning), legendary cult comedy South Park and top reality shows The Hills, and Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Wrestling. All of which will make VIVA THE place to look for stand-out US shows.
To top off the schedule VIVA will also be showing blockbuster movies every Sunday night.
