Join Nell McAndrew & Macleans for a Salsa Spectacle This Saturday 25th April at Brent Cross
——
Would you be ready to be whisked off your feet by a tall, dark, handsome stranger? Would you be ready to salsa into the sunset with your partner? Nell McAndrew and MACLEANS Confidence want to challenge you to get up close and personal on the dance floor this Saturday, and prove you have what it takes to be confident and ready for romance at anytime.
Nell McAndrew and leading dance instructor (instructor name) will be waltzing their way through Brent Cross Shopping Centre between 12 noon and 2pm on Saturday 25th April 2009, in the ultimate, free-for-all ‘confidence boosting’ dance session.
Nell herself is no stranger to dancing and believes it can truly help build confidence and inject an element of romance back into your life. She says;
“Just look at what shows like Strictly Come Dancing have done to boost the confidence of so many celebrities. It’s truly inspiring the way that dance can make you feel more confident about yourself and on Saturday we hope that the sexy salsa and tantalizing tango will do just that. We want to make sure everyone there will leave ready to be whisked off their feet and onto the dance floor whenever the occasion may arise!”
The event will also celebrate the launch of the new Macleans Confidence range, specially developed to deliver a deep clean, natural whiteness and a freshness you can feel, giving you the all day confidence that only naturally white, healthy teeth and sparklingly fresh breath truly can.
So if you’d like to improve your confidence, then don your dancing shoes and join Nell this Saturday 25th April at Brent Cross shopping centre (you never know, you may even find your perfect dancing partner in the process!)

A new addition to the Flanimals is being unveiled this evening when an exclusive, one-off, canvas created by Ricky Gervais goes on auction in support of the No Surrender Cancer Charity.
——-
The spur of the moment decision to create the wide-eyed wonder, christened Frong (Carpulous Gwenk), was taken after Gervais was approached to produce an original piece of art for the charity - which in recent months has auctioned canvasses by a range of top names including New Kids on the Block, KT Tunstall and the stars of Strictly Come Dancing.
——
Gervais’ contribution marks the beginning of a string of comedic themed auctions, the next featuring a canvas by the UK’s most popular television presenter Harry Hill, planned to mark the website’s re-launch and reflect the positive and upbeat message of the charity.
——
Gervais has not yet commented on whether the new edition will feature in future books - meaning the canvas, which goes on auction on eBay on Tuesday at 7pm may not just be the first but indeed may be the ONLY time Frong is ever penned by the Flanimal’s creator!
——–
Gervais remarked on the characteristics of the new species., “It pobbles a lot. It’s slightly snurbulent but nowhere near as snurbulent as as the Coddleflop, (and) it’s gwenkular. That’s where it’s name comes from.”
———-
Flanimals fanatics, or anyone who wants to own a genuine collector’s item, can access the auction, place their bids and view a video blog of the picture’s creation on the No Surrender website at: http://www.nosurrender.org

The No Surrender Charitable Trust, created by Jason Boas, provides a unique support system for young people suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses through a global social networking site.

-Shoes/heels names as the biggest female fashion drain!-
——–
British women will go into style decline after they hit the age of 30 - that’s the verdict of a new study which reveals the fashion follies of the modern female; from the fashion icons that inspire us to the money and time spent on looking good in 2009 and beyond.
Over 3,000 females between the ages of 20 and 60 took part in the poll which was specially commissioned by The Style Network (Sky 253) to celebrate the launch of new fashion series ‘Running in Heels’ (Tuesday 7th April at 10pm). The results provide a fascinating insight into women and their wardrobes in the ‘noughties’, and the icons we turn to for style guidance.
