(NEW YORK) - This year's version of Jamaica's annual Boxing Day dancehall reggae concert, Sting 97, is expected to draw more than 40,000 to Kingston's National Stadium.|
The dancehall/hip-hop summit on Dec. 26 will feature stateside rappers Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott and Foxy Brown alongside top Jamaican acts Bounty Killa, Anthony B, Frisco Kid, Capleton, Merciless and veteran stars Dennis Brown, Freddie McGregor and Junior Reid.
Reid, Killa, and Rhymes will perform their hit single "Change Just Like The Weather." Unlike the all-night marathons of the past, this year's show begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 2 a.m. As usual, the "no-bottles" rule will be strictly enforced.
