A Snoop/Dre reunion is in the works. Superstar rappers Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre are apparently putting aside their differences to record an album called Break Up To Make Up. According to Snoop's label, Death Row Records, the album should be ready next summer.
Dr. Dre is one of the founding members of Death Row and served as Doggy Dogg's mentor until Dre's departure from the label. Recently, Death Row and its incarcerated CEO Marion "Suge" Knight have been pounded by an onslaught of lawsuits following Tupac Shakur's death. With the future of the label in question, one might take Snoop and Dre's decision to reunite as solid business acumen, rather than camaraderie. (BB)
