(NEW YORK) - Plans are under way for a reunion of Nate Dogg, Snoop Doggy Dogg and Warren G, all Long Beach, Calif., natives who rapped together locally under the name 213 before signing record deals.|
Each is working on a solo album on which the others will guest; the first reunion track is slated for Nate Dogg's upcoming album, due in late spring on his Dogg Foundation label. Warren G says that after the solo albums are released, the trio will record an album together as 213, with production assistance from Dr. Dre. A label for the set has not been determined; Snoop Doggy Dogg is signed to Death Row, and Warren G is on Def Jam. The trio also plans to tour together.
