New Yorkers, reserve June 7 and 8 for the 2nd Annual Tibetan Freedom Concert on Randall's Island. Organized by Beastie Boy Adam Yauch, the concert's theme hopes to heighten the world's awareness of the Chinese oppression of Tibet. On the bill for the two-day concert: The Beastie Boys, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe of R.E.M., Bjork, Pavement, Foo Fighters, John Spencer Blue Explosion, De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Taj Mahal, Rancid, Patti Smith and - yes it's true, he's makin' a comeback - Biz Markie. No ticket information has been made available. Stick to JAMTV for more information regarding potential additions to the already great lineup. Rumors of who'll show: U2, Perry Farrell and David Bowie.
