There were reports that the Beastie Boys would be starring in an upcoming movie project that they co-wrote with director Spike Jonze. The trio have now made it clear that they are no longer involved in the project, which was to be a comedy/action movie. The reason is said to be that the expenses that are required to film and promote a movie are too high. (BB)
