(LOS ANGELES) - Dwight Yoakam pays tribute to music that has inspired him on Under The Covers, due July 15 on Reprise. Yoakam interprets 12 classic songs on the album, including the Clash's "Train In Vain," the Rolling Stones' "The Last Time," and Sonny & Cher's "Baby Don't Go," a duet with Sheryl Crow. Longtime Yoakam cohort Pete Anderson produced. The album's first single is the Everly Brothers hit "Claudette," written by Roy Orbison.
