Slide guitar Ry Cooder will release his new album I, Flathead on June 24th. The fourteen track disc — a theme album by the fictional musician Kash Buk and his band the Klowns — will complete Cooder’s “California Trilogy,” which he began three years ago. A ninety-five page novella by Cooder that expands on the story will be released at the same time.
