Promoters AEG have released this video of the final rehearsals that Michael Jackson took part in just days before his death last week. Performing with backing dancers, the star can be seen singing They Don’t Really Care About Us and the footage goes some way to refuting claims that the singer was too frail to even contemplate the run of gigs at the O2, although he looks way too thin for our liking. AEG have also confirmed that this is just a snippet from hours of rehearsal footage, likely to be turned into a souvenir video for fans…
Meanwhile, arrangements for Jackson’s memorial service have also been made, which is to be held on Tuesday July 7th at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles where he had been rehearsing for the London dates. 11,000 tickets have been made available for the service which is set to be held at 10am (5pm UK time).
