Fruity French electrofiers Air are back with their fifth long-player Love 2 in October - but that’s far, far away innit, even if the weather tippy-tappying at your window would suggest otherwise. The follow-up to 2007’s revered Pocket Symphony, Love 2 is the first album to be recorded at Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin’s new Atlas Studios in leafy gay Paris and to celebrate, the boys are giving away album track Do The Joy, a nimble chunk of Air that’s yours to keep for nowt. Far from counting the mound of shiny gold coins that stop her from opening her front door, it seems Le Lewis has escaped Hackney out the bathroom window and flown to the LA, city of angels - and who can blame her?
