When RealMusic Blog speaks to pop stars, we love to ask them all sorts of questions about their music, their lives and their hopes for the future. But the question we really love to ask them is this: given the choice, would you rather have spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers? The age-old debate rumbles on…
We’ve asked all of our recent interviewees this question and here are their answers - minus the puzzled looks. We’ve also imagined what a few of our interviewees might look like with spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers. We think you’ll agree it’s a look that Estelle, Katie Melua, Rascal Flatts and Craig David might want to consider in the future…

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Craig David: “As you do! Definitely spaghetti for hair.”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Rascal Flatts - Joe Don Rooney: “Spaghetti for hair.”

Rascal Flatts - Jay DeMarcus: “Could I have a side order of marinara sauce on it too?”

Rascal Flatts - Gary LeVox: “Courgettes for fingers - spaghetti for hair would feel weird!”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Morcheeba - Paul Godfrey: “Spaghetti for hair, because I don’t have any hair. Plus, water vegetables for fingers wouldn’t be as good. I’d probably have the spaghetti swept over - I like the thought of it. Perhaps some macaroni jewellery to go with it too.”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Katie Melua: “I think spaghetti for hair. It could look quite cool, then if you got hungry you could eat it. It’d be like having dreadlocks, and I had a phase where I thought I might like that, but then I didn’t - turned out it was just a 90s crisis.”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Taio Cruz: “Spaghetti for hair, because you can cut that and it would be fine. Courgettes would make it difficult to do things wouldn’t they?”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Helen Boulding: “Spaghetti for hair - not sure I’d be able to play the piano with courgettes for fingers. Plus, spaghetti for hair wouldn’t look much different to what I have now!”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Estelle: “Spaghetti for hair, because then if I was hungry I could chew a bit. Courgettes for fingers would just be weird - you’d have to cook them. Eugh!”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Kenna: “Since I have no hair, spaghetti would be novel.”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Chromeo - Dave One: “Wow! That’s some question. Spaghetti for hair - I already have really big Jewish hands and I’m sure spaghetti would be easier to manage. I couldn’t play guitar with zucchini for fingers either…”

Spaghetti for hair or courgettes for fingers?
Sugarush Beat Company - Jaz Rogers: “Spaghetti for hair - no contest.”

Sugarush Beat Company - Ida Corr: “Spaghetti for hair - what did you say for fingers?”

Sugarush Beat Company - Rahsaan Patterson: “Spaghetti for hair. Zucchini would be too big…”

RealMusic Blog: “You could chop them into cruditees…”

Rahsaan: “That would hurt!”

NOTE: The spaghetti and courgettes seen in these images were added under the strict supervision of adults.
