Snap!
Pittsburgh male/female dance duo, Snap!, had a huge international smash hit in 1990 with "The Power", featuring London-based rapper Turbo B and his cousin Jackie Harris on vocals. Snap! then rode the eurotechno wave of the 90's with their massive '92 hit "Rhythm Is A Dancer", reaching #5 in the charts. Turbo B. and Jackie Harris left the group at the end of '92, making way for Nikki Harris, a former Madonna background vocalist. 1994's "Welcome To Tomorrow" did not achieve the same success as their earlier efforts, possibly because new music had a faster pulse, more popular in European clubs.
