Minneapolis-based Acoustic Blues trio were signed to the fledgling Electra Records during the ascendancy of the Folk-Blues revival of the 1960s. "Spider" John Koerner, Dave "Snaker" Ray and Tony "Little Son" Glover played with a raw energy and a sense of almost reckless, hard-edged abandon that separated them from other Folk-Blues artists of the day -- many of whom seemed like tourists in an exotic musical landscape by comparison. The group members went their separate ways in the '70s, pursuing solo careers and coming together every now and then to record.
