To say that Calvin Harris has almost single-handedly placed disco firmly back into the forefront of the UK charts and dancefloors would be no exaggeration. The irrespressable Scotsman has made such an phenomenal impact with his delicious tracks that superstars of the dance and pop worlds have been queueing up to have a slice of his action.

Harris's debut album I Created Disco swiftly caught the attention of dance heavyweights Groove Armada and Faithless who he then went on to support on their 2007 UK tours. His first single from the album Acceptable in the 80s remained in the top 10 for a staggering 15 weeks as the public went wild for his highly addictive, euphoric and utterly carefree reinvention of 80s disco.

Collaborations predictably followed with Harris co-writing and producing for Kylie, including her top 10 hit In Your Arms. Plus, in 2008 he teamed up with rapper Dizzee Rascal and came up with the irritatingly catchy No.1 single Dance Wiv Me. The extraordinary reaction to I'm Not Alone, a more mature, trance-inspired track has all the qualities of a future Ibiza classic, much like the man himself.
