Bambino
The flamenco vocalist Bambino was born as Miguel Vargas Jiménez in Utrera, in the Spanish province of Seville, on February 12, 1943. He started his career in 1961 when he appeared in a venue in Antequera. He sang in numerous little bars and soon became famous for his flamenco songs about lost love, bad luck and misadventures, released on albums such as "Payaso", "La Fuerza del Destino" and "Soy lo Prohibido". Bambino died in the year 1999 and is today considered one of the great masters and innovators of popular 20th century flamenco.
