A German Eurodance trio, Cascada are lead singer Natalie Horler and DJs Manian and Yanou who also act as producers. Together they've scored a handful of top ten hits both in the UK and US as well as a three No 1s across Europe, with a further two gained on the US dance charts. To date, Cascada have released two studio albums - Everytime We Touch (2006) and Perfect Day (2007). The former was the bigger seller of the two, going double platinum and in turn featured the worldwide hit singles Everytime We Touch and the Savage Garden cover, Truly, Madly, Deeply. In all, eight singles were released from their debut album.
Their second album was also a platinum seller and featured notable cover versions of songs of Avril Lavigne - Sk8er Boi, Pink - Just Like A Pill and Patti Smith - Because The Night. However, it was the single What Hurts The Most that notched up the most sales, a song made most famous by US country trio Rascal Flatts in 2006. Cascada are scheduled to release their third studio album in 2009, which will no doubt be filled with more of their signature Eurodance sound. Their sound isn't subtle but it sells...
