Fehlfarben
If success were handed to Fehlfarben on a silver plate, they wouldn't take it. On the eve of their 1981 tour, singer Peter Hein left the band to keep his career at the Xerox plant. A blow the band could never compensate. Still, these existentialists had recorded the seminal "Monarchie und Alltag" album, with the single "Es Geht Voran", a milestone in German pop and their only hit, receiving a gold award for it 17 years later. In 2002, Hein took a break from Xerox for old times' sake and Fehlfarben reunited with their "Knietief im Dispo" album.
