Lily Allen, born May 2nd, 1985, is a pop singer based in London, England. Lily began singing in her early teens, and after several record deals gone bad, was signed to Regal Records in 2005. Allen took the unusual step of releasing several demo tracks from her then upcoming album on the popular website Myspace, much against the wishes of her record company. The tracks became very popular and saw Lily get media attention and a fan base even before her debut album was released. Her first single, "LDN" was released in 2006, as was her chart topping debut LP "Alright, Still".
