Another chip off the Disney block, the Jonas Brothers - Kevin, Joe and Nick - hail are from New Jersey and are famous for churning out scream-inducing pop and pledging their chastity by wearing purity rings. After making it big on the Disney Channel, the brothers starred in the 2008 film Camp Rock and released their third album in the US in the summer of 2008. Here in the UK we remember them best as the trio that Russell Brand made fun of at the 2008 MTV Awards. Of the three, Nick was the first to pursue a showbiz career, being hoisted onto a Broadway stage at the tender age of seven. He went on to pen some Christian songs with his pastor dad and off the back of that the Brothers got their deal.

They eventually landed at Hollywood Records in 2007 after Sony had abandoned their first release.Their self-titled second long-player housed hits Hold On and S.O.S. and a guest appearance on Hannah Montana cemented their status. The Jonas Brothers are now household names across America, with many young girls keen to test the boys' Christian resolve. The Brothers are attempting to up their street cred, collaborating with Timbaland on his new album Shock Value 2 on a track called Dumb. These brothers sing, act and dance but don't do drugs, alcohol, smoke or have sex. They also donated 10% of their earning to charity, totalling over $1million in 2007.
