Troop
Troop was a soul band from Pasadena, California. They set themselves apart from other groups with their harmony and explosive dance styles. The band was formed by Steve Russell, Allen McNeil, John Harreld, Rodney Benford and Reggie Warren. They signed to Atlantic Records and released their debut single "Mamacita" off of their self titled debut album in 1989. The single reached number two on the Billboard R&B charts. After the success of their debut album, Troop followed up with "Attitude", which featured the hit songs "Spread My Wings" and "All I Do Is Think Of You". "Attitude" went platinum.
