Tori Amos will hit the road for a run of intimate club shows in North America to preview new material from her forthcoming album, From the Choirgirl Hotel.|
Prior to embarking on the 12-date tour, which will kick off on April 18 at the Chili Pepper in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Amos will perform live on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on April 10. For the first time ever, Amos will be joined by a full backing band; she will still take command of the vocal and piano duties. Amos has dubbed this her "Sneak Preview '98 'Plugged'" tour.
As previously reported in JAMTV, From the Choirgirl Hotel was recorded entirely in Cornwall, England and will be released in early May. (Ari Bendersky)
