German Techno producer Timo Maas began spinning as a teenager. Maas spent most of the '90s deejaying at local clubs and raves, reaching international status at the end of the decade. Despite the attention, he has stayed true to the game by mixing Techno-inspired Trance with no indication of targeting a mainstream audience. Maas released the well-received Music for the Maases in 2000; Connected followed in 2001 but was not as well-received.
