Having obviously spent a lot of time listening to older Ska, the Slackers have learned the value of a slow-groovin' skank beat. Unlike much of today's Ska, these guys rely on musicianship over loud guitars and hyperactive horns. Smoky, velvet vocals croon over deliberate rhythms.
