The Power Station comprised Chic's Tony Thompson, Duran Duran's John and Andy Taylor, and singer Robert Palmer. Poised to be the super group of the '80s post-New Romantic scene, the band had a hit with a cover of T- Rex's "Bang A Gong (Get It On)" and the Palmer-penned "Some Like It Hot."
