With just an acoustic guitar, Carl Barat (aka Carl Libertine) tackles "Can't Stand Me Now" and two other Libertines singles. He sounds perfectly ragged and run-down, and still he's trying to shape his voice around all the little melodic quirks that make the songs work so well. "Time For Heroes" comes off best.
