Phish Men Do Bonnaroo

Anastasio and Gordon will play Tennessee fest

Backed by his new band, former Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio will play a late-night show at the fourth annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, which will take place June 10th to 12th in Manchester, Tennessee.

Also joining the festival is former Phish bassist Mike Gordon, who will perform with the Benevento/Russo Duo. He first teamed with organist Marco Benevento and drummer Joe Russo this past summer for a Headcount benefit show.

Other acts just added to the Bonnaroo lineup include electronic band Mouse on Mars, bluegrass troupe Old Crow Medicine Show and the jam quartet Tea Leaf Green. They join previously announced acts including the Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, Modest Mouse, Widespread Panic, the Allman Brothers Band, Joss Stone and Mars Volta.

The camping and music event takes place on a 700-acre farm just south of Nashville, and is complemented by non-musical activities that in years past have included a twenty-four-hour cinema, an arcade, a comedy tent and a Mardi Gras-style parade.
