Tetes Raides

The Têtes Raides re-energized the French songwriting scene in the 90's by mixing the aesthetics of circus performances with bold, realistic lyrics, and the strong voice of Christian Olivier. They started as Red Ted, playing covers of the Rolling Stones and the Clash. Changing their name, the group got some attention in 1989 with the vinyl release of "Not Dead but Bien Raides". The group's notoriety increased thanks to continuous touring and recording. Their third album "Les Oiseaux" now featuring the violin and voice of Anne-Gaëlle Bisquay, became an underground hit and a cult phenomenon.
