A phenomenally talented singer who scored numerous hit duets with Marvin Gaye, Terrell died tragically young in 1970.
While Terrell was diagnosed with a brain tumor, there's speculation that physical abuse let to her death.
Terrell provided the stellar vocals on the duets "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "You're All I Need To Get By."
