News Ticker: T.I., Led Zeppelin, The Police, Billy Joel

T.I. has revealed the loss of several business deals due to his recent convictions. “GM had to back up off of me. There are films that I missed out on. I’ve probably lost about ten to twelve million dollars,” he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. According to the Led Zeppelin rumor mill, the band is working with drum and bass group Pendulum to remix “Immigrant Song” for release this summer. A Reno, NV man has filed a police report seeking back royalties from Sting for “Roxanne” and “Message in a Bottle.” Roy Smith claims he gave Sting the inspiration for the songs during a conversation the two had. Billy Joel’s The Stranger will be re-released this summer, as two-CD set and as a two-CD/one-DVD bundle. Both versions will include the previously unreleased Live at Carnegie Hall 1977 and arrive in stores July 8th.
