If art ever had a place in modern day metal, the 1995 founded System of a Down put it there. Rising in the wake of such peers as Korn and The Deftones, the quartet played their own blend of harsh and heavy rock with singer Serj Tankian's unique voice, and soon had a cult following in their home state of California. The politically dedicated group already sold well with their debut album and scored big with the 2002 release "Toxicity". Their latest effort is the outtakes and odds record "Steal This Album!" from the same year.
