Superchick are super cool, no doubt about it. They appeal different audiences with ease, from teen/tween popsters and the Disney Radio crowd to those with ska/pop punk leanings, like fans of the O.C. Supertones and Relient K. They've even covered pop culture thoroughly, showing up on over 40 TV shows and movie soundtracks. Their addictive lyrics are bubblier than 7-Up, but with a tongue-in-cheek earthiness that's unusual for girl/guy-bands in their genre. Their energy and image are captured perfectly by the title of their debut LP, Karaoke Superstar.
