Dan Richardson, Joey Z. (Life of Agony), and Corey Lowerey (Stuck Mojo) met in the year 2000 and decided on the spot to form a new band. Stereomud was born after two more members joined in. After gaining a cult following over the course of a few gigs, their debut "Perfect Self" hit the stores in 2001. Although they became critics' darlings with their blend of harmony rock, metal, and crossover, things dried up a bit for the band. Stereomud tried to pick up the pieces and started touring again in 2003 with contemporaries Every Given Moment.
