Stephanie Mills
Stephanie Mills was born on March 22, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY. As a young girl she participated in Broadway shows and eventually landed the role of Dorothy in the hit musical “The Wiz”, an adaptation of the classic book, “The Wizard Of Oz”. With her performance drawing critical raves, Mills signed to Motown Records and began releasing a series of successful albums, five of them reached gold status along the years. Among her most well known hits were “Something in the Way (You Make Me Feel)” and “Never Knew Love Like This Before”, as well as “Home” from “The Wiz”.
