Tiny Moore protege and studied fiddlesmith Scott Joss is known by many folks in the country world as the man who shall inherit Bakersfield, California. In almost ten years of playing country music, Joss has toured with Dwight Yoakam and Merle Haggard's band, the Strangers. He also learned to play fiddle from the Buckaroos' very own Jana Jae and spent some time with the infamous Bakersfield six-string picker, Roy Nichols. Joss' music is a fiddle-heavy collection of his own personal Americana. His Bakersfield roots naturally sink in to the mix, giving his crisp sounding New Traditional tones some rustic resonance.
