Rudi
Northern Ireland punk rockers Rudi were formed in 1976 by schoolmates Brian Young, Ronnie Mathews, Graham Marshall, Leigh Carson and Drew Brown. They released their first vinyl in 1978, the punk classic “Big Time/No.1“ on the influential Good Vibrations label and continued to challenge bigger bands like the Adverts with their vibrant live shows. After Manager Malcolm McLaren broke promises he made them, they released two singles on the Jam’s Paul Weller’s Jamming label, but when the Jam and their label split up, Rudi called it a day as well.
