Riot might as well have called themselves "Rocky." They too came together (gasp!) in America's Bicentennial year, have had releases too numerous to remember, and also hail from "Noo Yawk." The band has preserved in astonishing detail the sound of NWOBHM-era Metal: strike-the-pose, note-holding vocals, and never-say-die guitar codas. You'll be glad you saved your spandex when Riot -- for the hundredth time -- come to your town.
