Promoe
Promoe is a rapper from Sweden who is both an MC with the group Looptroop and a solo artist in his own right. Dividing his time between Sweden, Spain, Jamaica, Cuba and Morocco, the rapper produced the aptly titled 2004 album, "The Long Distance Runner". The album is a mixture of reggae and hip hop, with beats produced by Breakmecanix, Chilly, Perry Roman, John John and Looptroop member Embee and featuring guests Ward 21, Timbuktu, Ghost, Cosmic, Chords, Bushman and Anthony B. On the 13 tracks on the album Promoe rhymes skilfully and articulately about graffiti, politics, love and war.
