Phil Manzanera
Phil Manzanera is a guitarist, best known for his long affiliation with legendary British art pop band Roxy Music. Manzanera was born Philip Targett-Adams in 1951, and began playing guitar at the age of eight. In 1972 he joined Roxy Music, just as the band was recording their self-titled debut album. He stayed with them till their final album, 1982's "Avalon". He has released several solo albums, including "Diamond Head" and "Primitive Guitars". He has also recorded for Bryan Ferry, Brian Eno, and produced for Split Enz. He remains active with his own bands, and as a sideman.
