Pep Love
A longtime Oakland emcee, Pep Love is one half of the Prose (with Jay Biz) and is affiliated with the lyrical leviathans known as Souls of Mischief, as well as the larger Hieroglyphics fam. After displaying jaw-dropping verbals on many past projects (check out the stellar "After Dark" from Hiero's Third Eye Vision), Pep steps out on the solo tip, releasing his excellent, long-awaited LP Ascension in 2001.
