Naked Raygun Reuniting For One Show

Chicago's Naked Raygun is reuniting for a special all-ages Thanksgiving show on Nov. 29 at Metro in support of the release of their new album, Last of the Demohicans.|

Formed in 1981, the punk quartet was one of the most popular and influential underground bands from the Midwest during the 1980s, standing alongside contemporaries Big Black and Husker Du. After releasing five full-length albums on Homestead and Caroline records during the 1980s, the group disbanded in 1991.

Now Jeff Pezzati (vocals), Bill Stephens (guitar), Pierre Kezdy (bass), and Eric Spicer (drums) are back together for one show to celebrate the release of Last of the Demohicans on Dyslexic Records. The 15-song album features live tracks, early Raygun demos, and four brand new songs recorded with Steve Albini. (Seth Hindin)
