Muse

Music > Muse
The British rock group Muse consisted of old high school buddies guitarist/vocalist Matthew Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenhome and drummer Dominic Howard. Spending their youth in the tiny hometown of Teignmouth, the group recorded their self-titled debut EP, which they released on Dangerous Records in 1997. Following a gig at the New York CMJ festival, which created a critical buzz, Muse signed a deal with Maverick Records, releasing their debut LP "Showbiz". "The Origin of Symmetry" followed in 2001, as did the live set "Hullabaloo" in 2002.
