Missing Persons were a flash in the pan New Wave group from Los Angeles. Comprised of musical pros issued from Frank Zappa's band and fronted by an ex-playboy bunny, the group quickly found a major label. A couple singles graced the US Top 40 before they released their first full-length, "Spring Session M", which produced a cult hit named "Walking in L.A.". The group's following two albums, "Rhyme and Reason" in 1984 and in 1986 the dancy "Color in Your Life", both failed to garner the band a fan base. Members of the band went on to do film soundtracks, and gig professionally with other acts.
