Guitarist/singer-songwriter for the original Jefferson Airplane, Marty Balin moved on to a solo career after leaving the band in 1978. These mild, squeaky-clean Cool Jazz numbers are a far cry from his Jefferson Airplane contributions (e.g. "Share a Little Joke" and "Volunteers"), and sound more akin to the likes of Steely Dan and Steve Miller than 1960s Psychedelia.
