The Lo Fidelity Allstars formed in 1996 in London and are renowned for their eclectic brand of big beat and electronica mixed with old-school styles. Equipped with surreal nicknames, LFA were a constant live draw, and at the peak of the big beat frenzy they signed a deal with Skint records and released the debut "How to Operate with a Blown Mind" in '98. Singer "Wrekked Train" left the same year and was replaced by "Albino Priest". After a mix album, they issued "Don't Be Afraid of Love" in 2002, combining Northern soul with funk & acid house.
