Mick Jagger is partly to be made responsible for the rise of politically dedicated Living Colour, arranging a record deal for the band as an openly fan in 1987. Their debut "Vivid" saw the light of day in 1988 and soon the single "Cult of Personality" was a constant guest on all music channels. The Rolling Stones also took the band on tour. The talented and hard rocking Living Colour released three more records but finally broke apart over musical differences. 2001 the band decided to try again and released "Collideoscope" in 2003.
