Lee Hazlewood was born in Mannford, Oklahoma. He was a writer for singers such as Nancy Sinatra and Duane Eddy and also worked as a producer for many artists. His skills were so outstanding that even the young Phil Spector studied him. Hazlewood released his first solo album "Trouble Is A Lonesome Town" in '63. Three years later he cut "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" with Frank Sinatra's daughter Nancy. He also produced the top hit "Somethin' Stupid" Nancy sang with her father. The song was later covered by Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman. Nick Cave and Lambchop are big fans of Hazlewood.
