Ketama
Brothers Antonio and Juan Miguel Carmona and their cousin Juan Carmona founded the new flamenco band Ketama during the 1980's. They released their debut album "Ketama" in 1985. The band mixes traditional flamenco stuff with pop tunes, elements of jazz and some salsa. They recorded songs by the likes of Jose Soto and Alejandro Sanz and released more albums such as "Y Es Ke Me Han Kambiado Los Tiempos" (1990), "Canciones Hondas" (1991), "El Arte de lo Invisible" (1993) and of course "Dame La Mano" (2002). Ketama played with Celia Cruz and opened shows for Prince and The Rolling Stones.
