The actress and singer Julie London personified the elegance of 1950's Hollywood. She sang the song "Cry Me a River" in a film starring Jayne Mansfield, and appeared in numerous films alongside the likes of Gregory Peck and Rock Hudson. Although her album covers were notoriously racey, London herself was rather shy. She withdrew from show business after a final album "Yummy, yummy, yummy", but in the mid-70's she continued to act in the televsion drama "Emergency". London passed away in 2000 due to complications from a stroke.
